MWIF Global War Counterfactual (Take 3).

1. Here goes nothing, but I do hope that it turns into something. As always, any constructive comment or criticism is not only welcomed but is encourage.

2. This and the previous 2 tries or takes are solo.

MWIF version 5.0.0.10 (Debug) & Take 3 = Take 2 Setup.

1. Using setup for take 2 with the exception of US entry chit draws.

2. US entry chit draws redone for setup (still 2 chits to Ge/It & 1 chit to Japan entry) and Germany's DOW on Poland.

3. Note that in take 2 the allies only pulled 1 chit for Germany's DOW but in take 3 pulled 2.

Lend Lease Planes at Setup.

1. MWIF has a feature (i.e., bug) in which lent planes cannot be returned to the lender. This means that later in the war that these obsolete planes, because they can't be scrapped, that the borrow will likely draw these planes again if destroyed.

2. However; with the "magic" of game file editing these planes can now indeed be returned and then scrapped.

3. I've gone through the necessary edits in my game file editing guide but when/if I do it "for keeps" in this game I will post the steps. Making the necessary edits aren't for the faint of heart but they aren't Rocket Science either.

Setup & WAR Objectives. Germany. 3/3.

1. Also, shows Italian & French setups on the Western Front. Graphic will NOT be repeated when discussing those setups.

Setup. Manchuria, Korea & Soviet Asia. Japanese & USSR Uneasy Peace Garrisons.

HR 3. Soviet & Japanese Uneasy Peace in Asia. The USSR & Japan will meet the garrison requirements laid out in the table below. Units must be within 3-hexes of an enemy (i.e., Soviet or Japanese as appropriate) controlled hex to satisfy these garrison requirements. Any unmet requirement must be remedied as quickly as possible using the necessary land, air and/or sea actions. Neither side can DOW the other until Jan/Feb 1945 (turn 33).

Setup. CW. South Africa.

1. Since Cape Town, South Africa is both an Asia & African port, RN ships required to setup on the Asian map can, and some did, setup in Cape Town.

2. The RSA Terr (in Cape Town) is booked on The Queens for passage to Bombay, India on the first turn.
