Could you post a stable release

Hi All
There really was no stable release for tiny, so there is no fallback if you want to escape the test cycle. Could we do that at some point? No harm in asking correct? I'm suffering from tester's fatigue and just want to play the game for a bit. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Thanks!
Mike

If you have the Steam version, you should be able to roll back by right-clicking the game in Steam, Local Files, and Verify integrity of game files. This should walk it back to the latest non-beta version.

I know how to roll back and was one of the 4 founding developers so cut the crap. What I roll back to isn't as stable as in the past. Its ok to ask for that-- Cliff B's blog told me. They can also say no and its fine.

I have no idea who you are and was trying to be helpful. There is no crap in my response. Your response was incredibly rude.

Did my response to him, hurt your feelings. I'm so sorry Kevin. Perhaps we can meet in person and hug it out with you

Mike,
Wasn't 1307.0 supposed to be a stable release that incorporated all of the changes that were involved with Tiny? I thought that that is what was being said at the time. That required an actual INSTALL, whereas the rest have just been patches, so I believed that to be a "stable release", per se. I know that they just sort of 'officially' stopped with Tiny, but that all of the changes afterward were really just a continuation from Tiny at that point, so I do understand what you are talking about.
It just seems like the changes are coming so fast that it is difficult to keep up. I haven't even had a chance to look at the "mast height changes" because I'm still stuck on the incorrect flight paths, and bombing issues associated with them. So, I can see the need for an "official" stable release. As you said, there is no harm in asking.

Thats really my point. Sometimes you've got to come off the line and just play the thing for fun. Its can't be a test all the time or you'll go bonkers.
Anyways. They can say no. Just asking.

Hi Guys,
Mike, thanks for the feedback, the official versions as Titanium mentioned tend to be the most stable. If you're speaking about something pre-tiny then we can consider creating a legacy branch. However it may cause more issues than it's worth.
It's a valid concern you've raised, and i don't want testers and players to feel burnt out playing Command. I/we are always happy to receive feedback on the betas themselves, as well as the process behind them. For closed and open betas, and anything else inbetween.
However, there was no ill intention meant here by Titanium, so did not warrant that response whatsoever...
Let's leave it at that and move along. I don't want to have to police forums....many thanks.

I apologized to Titanium yesterday and he accepted. I was wrong for giving him a hard time.
Thanks!

This is not the first time you've just laid into someone who was just trying to help.
As I have just returned from vacation, Sam was covering for me and did close this matter...
However, I am going to have to overrule him here...
I keep seeing posts like these and I want it to be clear: They are not acceptable.
This time your getting an official warning.

Edmon
