The Database Viewer says this of the PL-15: "The missile's length (5.8 meters) means it can't be carried internally by the Chengdu J-20 "stealth" fighter". However, there is an "Internal Long-Range" (in addition to a "Standard Intercept" loadout) listed for the J-20 that includes the PL-15. I did a few minutes research and so far I've just been able to locate a couple of magazine pictures (Combat Aircraft Journal December 2018: "J-20 Shows its teeth" and Air Forces of the World: Pacific Asia p.9) that claim to show the PL-15 in the main weapons bay of the J-20, and a book (Hush-Kit Book of Warplanes) that says the J-20 would carry 4 x PL-15 in its standard loadout. Could someone please confirm if the Database Viewer entry for the PL-15 is correct?

The aforementioned J-20 "Internal Long-Range" loadout also mentions 4 x 1700 liter drop tanks. Is this accurate?

I know this is the second time in a week I'm posting about a Database Viewer issue. Am I expecting too much accuracy from the Database Viewer or should I point out any other questionable entries I come across?

If you have an issue with the DB its better to raise a query in the Github DB request tracker etc set out what it is you think is wrong erroneous incorrect or you doubt and evidence it with some credible sources.
Its more likely to get picked up and actioned or answered by the DB editors.
REF PL-15 versus the J-20 internal bay.
Thought personally (shooting from the hip) that PL-15 was just a PL-12 with an upgrade roughly like an AIM-120C versus AIM-120D scenario?
PL-15 should fit the J-20 and that the real long range too lengthy missile was the PL-21 aka PL-17 which won't fit?

Ah ok great, yeah I will raise these on github from now on, cheers for the info. I agree with what you said about the PL-15 too, the DBV entry was the first suggestion I’d seen that the PL-15 might not fit the J-20 weapons bay
