Oh, you're only interested in the DLC-races...
- Why not allow the other 7 races here, too (this might be at least important for the new/additional players, I think,

Ikurro.
I want to play a "United Federation of Planets" and they fit the bill.
Dayhut use Slavery - never found much mechanical use for it DW2.

No, I meant that you should add the other factions to your poll - like, if I would like to play Borkara first, I couldn't give them a vote.

Yes, of course, I understood that already - but I was thinking about those for wich not ONLY the DLC would be new - the (now) new or additional players who join the commuity or the forums.

I don't see how it could.
Note that the DLC files will be mostly installed already - they are just toggled on or off based on what you own.

Erik said on Discord that it is save game compatible, nothing will change in your saved games. If you want to see the new races as full empires and not independents, you need to start a new game.

Problem solved.
I'll decide what happens when that becomes a problem. So far i have only met independents.
