Why can't Free France, upon liberation, repair damaged factories in cities it now controls? Is this a bug?

(I am playing with the extended game length option, if that is a concern... and other units can be built/repaired into the future).

Try clicking on a specific factory on the right and see if the buy selected unit type button lights up.

Unfortunately, I did that... but will repeat the exercise just in case I misremember...

Nope, did not work upon a reload of the saved file.

Beats me... if it is believed to be a bug, I will upload the file to the bugs area.

Not sure what version you're using? One last thing I try in these situations and it's a Hail Mary pass.

If using the latest version I'd retrograde to 3.2 and see if you can get it. It so, then upgrade back to the later version you're using and it should still be on the build spiral. If this works then you know it's a regression bug introduced in a later version. If it doesn't bug has been there for a while



If you're using an earlier version then upgrade and if that works then retrograde. If this works you know it's a big fixed in a later version

Can you post the gamesave in here? Than we can check.

Hope its the correct one.

Game is the 5.XXX update... I have moved beyond this step, so no need to try to correct the bug. I would just like to know if it is one at all.

Craig, I just downloaded, loaded & had no trouble repairing one of the French factories. Well, it wouldn't let me repair a specific factory. I had to make sure all five damaged factories on the right were unclicked. I then was able to click on the "Build Selected Unit Type".

I've got the same results. Looks like we were looking at the same thing at the same time...
