Does accepting the generous offer of the Danish government to become part the German empire in March -April 1940 cause as much mobilisation to the USA and Russia as a German invasion of Danemark?

If I successfully blockade the port in South Africa, will that cut of ALL MPPS flowing through there, including for instance the MPPs coming from Australia etc.... (assuming that the Med convoys have stopped because Italy is at war).

Hi, I can't remember the answer to the 1st question (i think the Russians don't care at all about Denmark), but regarding:

... the answer is that it will only cut all convoys going from S.Africa to UK and it will not affect the ones coming from Australia etc. In order to block those, you must blockade Sydney, N.Zealand etc.

I guess it woulds be too powerful a move to be able to block all MPPs going to England if you target that one location.

USA doesn't care, about Denmark.

Matter, of fact, Denmark doesn't care about Denmark.

You can test yourself by invading Denmark or accepting invite from King which moves Soviet mobilization 2-4% as does invading without invite. For Norway, accepting invasion event moves Soviets 2-4% and US 3-5%. Manual invasion of Norway only moves Soviet mobilization. Also remember if Axis doesn't invade Norway and Allies raids convoys that will move Norway toward Axis by 1-4% each turn with 50% probability.
