The Road To Nijmegen Campaign was updated after the installer package was built, the file date from the installer is 1/28/2023 and the patch is 2/20/2023. You can find the discussion and link to the patch here: The Road To Nijmegen Campaign

Can we assume that the Steam version will be updated automatically

I guess it depends upon BFC getting the updated cam file to Matrix. A similar patch came along for a campaign file for the CMBS DLC, and they seemed to have gotten it that out in short order.
