Postures with entrenchment effects

- 0-posture.png (52.92 KiB) Viewed 474 times
Entrench posture is supposed to give +50% Entrench and +50% Max Entrench immediately.
But there is no change in the unit entrenchment window after attaching the position nor on the sub-tab button.

Similarly if I attach "All out attack" which is supposed to remove any entrenchment, the entrenchment window is not modified as well as the sub tab button.

Ok, you are going to tell me that this window gives entrenchment at the start of the turn and is not real time... And if I increase the salary of the soldiers, the moral window is not modified either.
On the other hand, the morale sub tab button is modified.
We have here an uneven behavior and I can't check if the entrenchment effect is applied during the fight without having a detailed log of the defensive fights.
Since I'm in an MP game, I won't know for several days/weeks if everything will become correct on the next turn, sorry for that.
Postures with AP effect
The Rush and No retreat postures are supposed to modify action points, but there is no immediate effect on movement
AND during combat.

Let me know if there is anything actually wrong in the start-turn ENTR log next turn. As read above I cannot deduce any tech issues.
Having detailed combat reports in history mode is something i'd like to do in the future however. For many reasons, including yours here

I have prepared a case with the "rush" posture which you can test by attacking the tile (34,43) with the 1st, 3rd and 4th light infantry.
You will notice that the posture +30% AP and -20% defense (HP?) is not taken into account.

Here we are:
This unit is in the jungle (14,28) and received the entrench posture the previous turn.
No entrench bonus, no AP bonus.
The only effect of this posture is the -40% attack penalty!
Please also check the "no retreat" and "rush" stances for the AP bonus which doesn't seem to work (and -20% defense (HP?) is not taken into account for rush).

Hi,
All seems to be working as intended.
-Entrench does not give an AP bonus
-Entrench and Max Entr bonus is applied during entrenchment phase at start of turn
-Rush gives extra AP at start of the next turn, it is not related to combat
-Defense Bonus gives extra attack points if you are attacked during enemies turn
best wishes,
Vic

Thank you for the clarification.
However, I had specified that it was the
immediacy which was at the origin of the bug deposit.

If the generic declaration displayed when attaching the posture had been written as follows, I would not have filed a bug:
The effects are immediate
except those of entrenchment and action points which will begin at the start of the following turn.
Thank you for your dedication to satisfying the players

Yes I see why this is confusing. I'll remove that immediate... The effect is immediate yeah... but applied at a later phase
