So what is the rule behind having drop tanks available? I'm at Noumea with over 200k supply, so that isn't an issue. My F4Fs don't have them available (assigned SOPAC HQ, so local) but the NZ fighters have them available. Any reason?

There is also a date when certain aircraft such as the F4F are able to use them.

Oh? And I assume that is the same with other planes (like PBY which happens to be unavailable at the same base)?

"Date DT Avail" is in the editor! Never noticed that before under the plane type! Thanks for the info. I thought it was a HQ limitation if the plane wasn't assigned, which didn't make sense in my case.

I believe that all of the P-40 models except the B have DT's available in game....GP
