I have just registered for multiplayer and when attempting to log in I get this message.

Any suggestions?

Wow you are having some serious issues. FYI you have the latest version.

Security software will interfere with the program. Put it in the safe zone.

How do I put the game in safe mode?

I mean tell the security software WarPlan is safe.

I don't know which security software you have.

Usually Norton or McAfee are the culprit.

You can google "how to add a program to the allowed list on..."

I was not able to access the security software.

I formatted the hard drive and reinstalled windows.

That's nuts man and very strange.

Just a recap on steps previously taken

I formatted my computer and only have this game installed.
I have no anti virus on.
I have 2 PBEM game going and have had no issues excepted for today.

Suggestions?

It was a problem on the server side not on your side.

As usual it's the server and not the user.

The Matrix server is down at least once every month. We have the Matrix version of Combat Mission Cold War and we have stuck with our PBEM procedure of sending each other our game files or if too large using Dropbox rather than PBEM++ which uses the Matrix server. We have been doing this for the 20 years that we have been playing the CM series.

Since we keep the save files until the game is completed it allows usto load an earlier game file to test out what ifs.

Matrix should offer our option for all their games.

I would of thought you would of had a message to inform you of this.

I just logged onto PBEM and my user name and password are blank.

Where would I find my user name and password?

C:\Users\"your user name"\Documents\My Games\WarPlan\playerData.dat

or playerDataSteam.dat for Steam install.

My log in details are correct but I have not been able to log in for 2 days.

I suspect the server is down?

I just got on.

Check to make sure some new security software wasn't installed.
Make sure WarPlan is on the allowed list.

Sometimes software makes changes on what is allowed out and what isn't.

I have been playing 2 games on multiplayer with no issues for some time.
The game crashed while logging onto warplan multiplayer.
windows restarted the computer
I logged on to warplan multiplayer and my log on details and password were removed from log in screen
I have been trying for over 2 days to log on and no luck
I have reformatted my computer and turned off every security software that I can find
The computer I use only has 3 things on it and they are warplan warplan and warplan.

what else can I do?

Wow.... that is weird.

Is WP the only game that can't get on?
I assume you have your login and password.

Did you have any previous settings on WarPlan you forgot to activate? Like "run as admin".
Did you set it as an exclusion through the firewall?

Was it Matrix or Steam installed?
