Does anyone remember the gaming magazine SSI used to put out that had a little game in every issue? I forget the name of the mag, (Big surprise!

). I subscribed for a few years back in the late '70s, early '80s as I recall. Also does anyone remember the SSI boardgame 'Dreadnoughts'? At a wargaming club I belonged to back then, we put together a multi-player Jutland game with it. I was in command of the British main fleet. Those were the days!

Hi,
Maybe someone knows - when did S&T get taken over by Decision Games?

I still have some of those old 1970's issues of S&T stashed away. In recent years I've been bying the new magazine - quite enjoyable.

Prof. did you mean "SPI" instead of SSI?
I don't recall ever seeing a publication from SSI.
I have a stash of those S&T games myself.
Of course often the game exceeded my interest range, so I tended to purchase it off the rack instead of subscription.
But so many of those magazine based games were really nice.

Yeah I think Les is right. Infact I have almost two years of the games, plus assorted purchased box games including the large box version of Wacht am Rhein. I also found an interesting site that has a tool for converting these old board games to PBEM. Anyone interested?
