So I decided I'd like to try the free download of War In Russia. Got the game installed as per the instructions. Also downloaded Dosbox Staging. When I click on the game to start it begins to open, then all I get is a white screen that either crashes or freezes. Mostly crashes.

Suggestions would be appreciated

I did not try the Staging version. But it worked at the first try with DOSBox.

Yes I tried that too. The screen blinks once and then nothing happens
