At least, let there be ammo/machine per turn

With heavy industries, I can go into assets and set the level of machines per turn to have a peace of mind later on but with ammo, its annoying to have to craft 3000 ammo per turn in mid game. I suggest giving the secretary a slider screen that ask for the industries of your empire to produce an amount of ammo/machine per turn to give a peace of mind in safeguarding a supply of ammo.

Bump for Ammo Factories.
I spent some time trying to persuade SE and CMOD to cooperate two nights ago, unsuccessfully. CMOD's been buried for over a year, but the thread is visible for now in the "War Room" section.
Ammo Factories are a really a nice way of playing out the problem you mention. CMOD does nothing for machines, but ammo production comes at a reduced cost, once you build the relatively expensive facility. Overall, the costs are about equal, as the factory takes workers and energy but makes more efficient use of the regimes metal and IP resources.
The crucial thing is that ammo management is effortless. Reserves build up nicely during peace time, the facility can be upgraded as tech advances and expected usage rises, and any sudden shortages just mean you use the old fashioned way once or twice.
The other stuff in CMOD is pretty good too. All of it, really. I miss it already, in my current game.
Inclusion, or rehabilitation of the mod, would be appreciated by this player and many others I expect.

What I do is build up a stockpile of say 10k ammo over the course of a few turns (say 3k ammo per turn, whatever my industry can handle at the time). Then every couple of turns I top off the stockpile with a big batch of ammo to keep it over 10k at all times.
