Supply Dot Types

Hello everyone!
Before anything, I have to say that I have read everything I have found on this forum and on the manual about supplies, but there is a question that I still do not find the answer for.

As far as I know :
Note: I know that the colour code depends on the side, but in those photos that I attach, the “player side” is the blue one, so.
  • The blue/gold dots of supplies correspond to the player
  • The red/gold dots correspond to the enemy
  • What does gold/gold dots correspond to and why they appear in between MY dots?
  • Why there are hexes without any supply dots even if my troops have gone through them or even are placed on those hexes? (see the attached photo of St Lo). I guess that they will not receive any supplies in the next turn (because they are in a hex without supply dot). I think that this is because of enemy ZoC but correct me if I am wrong.
  • If red/gold dots are enemy’s supply dots, why there are enemy supply dots (red/gold) on hexes with MY troops on it? (see the attached photo of kasserine 43). I guess again that that unit of mine won’t receive any supplies in the next turn.
  • Again, if red/gold dots are supply dots of the enemy, why are there hexes with enemy units WITHOUT those kind of dots? (see kasserine photos attached)
I attach here several photos of ST LO and KASSERINE 43 scenarios in which I play as Americans and Germans respectively, which shows those doubts of mine.
Thank you a lot in advance!

The blue side can trace to the location.
  • The red/gold dots correspond to the enemy
The red side can trace to the location.
  • What does gold/gold dots correspond to and why they appear in between MY dots?
Both sides can trace to the location.
  • Why there are hexes without any supply dots even if my troops have gone through them or even are placed on those hexes? (see the attached photo of St Lo). You have the "No Borders" option turned on. The supply map only shows hexes adjacent to your units. But if there are such hexes (no supply dot) next to or on your units, then those locations are unsupplied.
  • If red/gold dots are enemy’s supply dots, why there are enemy supply dots (red/gold) on hexes with MY troops on it? (see the attached photo of kasserine 43). I guess again that that unit of mine won’t receive any supplies in the next turn.
You've moved since the supply map was generated. It isn't dynamically updated.
  • Again, if red/gold dots are supply dots of the enemy, why are there hexes with enemy units WITHOUT those kind of dots? (see kasserine photos attached)
"No Borders", again. Or, your units are suppressing the enemy supply trace.

Thank you for your response!

I do not get this concept of "No borders". As long as I know, I do have borders turned on, right? Check how the orange and black lines within hexes demarcate the territory of mine and the therritory of the enemy.

It seems, like you say, that the reason why the are not supply dots on hexes is the supression of the rival units, right?
But what is the mechanics behind this concept, then? Check how on the kasserine scenario (on the top right for example) there is a unit of mine that doesn't have a supply dot, but there is another unit that it do have it. Why is that?

The unit in the hex without the supply value moved into it post the generation of the supply map. Note its timestamp is "2".
