[RESOLVED] Can't participate in Beta

Hello
Currently running 1307.14, wanted to try the Beta and followed the instructions to the letter, selected Beta restarted Steam and nothing happens (I see the green bars updating etc)?, stays at 1307.14.
Any ideas?

Does the Steam client refresh the install fileset ?

That sounds like an issue with the Steam client then.
Can you try to uninstall and then re-install, after having selected the beta branch?

Validate files through Steam before you do anything. Then try it.

Thanks for the assistance I did a complete reinstall of steam and C:MO (checked validation of files twice) but the issue was still there until I discovered the below and it worked ...

So you never checked the beta box in the library? Is that what you're saying?
