While I enjoy most of this great game, the Treasury and cash flow report is arcane, obscure and practically useless. P&L type cash flow reports (eg sources and uses) have been around for a long time, and there's no reason this report can't be redone to reflect common business practices. I've been a consultant and CEO for several successful enterprises, and anyone who submitted a report that looked like that would be the one out fiddling with traffic signs or sent to the front line immediately. There's enough micromanagement in this game as it is, so one should be able to tell at a glance where the issues are. How about some graphs????

Yeah, for instance (start turn) Credits (and Fate Points) could be displayed in the National Regime Statistics, like (start turn) Political Points already are.

Though I guess that's not exactly what you had in mind, what do you mean by P&L ? (I'm not even going to *try* to search for a 2-letter acronym, 3-letter ones are already bad enough !)

P&L = Profit and Loss, the basic report of any business, including "non profits" that use gentler names for profit...

"Sources and uses" is also a common report and does what the name implies: shows the sources of funds and the uses of funds!

I'm still having problems figuring out where the funds come from to hire and pay soldiers. Pretty important when considering an invasion that could bankrupt the country...

There's quite a lot of different sources of credits (and I suspect quite a lot of them are pretty much printing money), some of that information is a bit spread out in zone news and zone population tab : (The manual has most of these details.)

I would just like to see the cashflow summary at the very top - or at least on the Empire Dashboard. Scrolling down to get the detail is a bit of a QoL opportunity.

What I'm missing the most is a quick sum up such as the tooltip from the screenshot above in the cashflow screen. This game suffers from having long lists where the player has to search for key information. While the lists are useful it's also tempting to not have a look at the screens anymore due to the time it takes to find this relevant information.

The dashboard for exemple is really convenient, it quickly shows a lot of relevant information and the colour helps to find out what is happening.
