Situation -- I inadvertently reassigned NKPS 4's RR Construction Brigades to Stavka, neutering the unit.

Question -- How do I assign RR Construction Brigades to the NKPS?

Recovery Steps Attempted:

1 - Assign NKPS4 to STAVKA and attempt to assign units fails -- no units appear for assignment.
2 - Physically return NKPS4 to Moscow, coexisting in same hex as STAVKA -- no units appear for assignment.
3 - Access any RR Construction Brigade and try to assign to NKPS, but no option. (Should I go set on one?)
4 - Attempt to build an NKPS in the Build Box -- no option.

If no one has ever attempted this, I will take my punishment like a good comrade. But I'm hoping someone will lead me by the hand back to four healthy NKPS units. Overall, Spring, 1943 is approaching, and I've inflicted losses on the Axis far, far, far beyond loss of Sixth Army, and I'd hate to fight on with one logistics arm tide behind my back.

You can't. Once removed you can not assign them back to a "RailwayHQ".

In theory it is possible to edit savegames using the editor (just google for a guide), but I don't know how this overall works out after editing, it is likely it will mess things up.

If you have no old save to revert to you have to bite in the dust and disband the empty NKPS to get at least some manpower back.
I remember we had changed this in the improved WitE version 1.08 or later so players were either not able to remove units or they could add them back (can't remember exactly)

Someone faced with the fact that NKPS appears ahead of schedule, or rather at turn 6? Are these some special rules if the enemy does not quickly take Pskov?

I guess it's time to learn about the editor...something I've toyed with anyway.

I've heard of a WITW patch for those British Home Guard units setting on those ports which cannot be moved. Someone made a patch for that. Maybe I can learn something from that as well.

I used to encount the same trouble. The others on Chinese forum told me: load the earlier save. There seems no solution.
