Playing a game as the Allies against the Axis AI and France easily held out until Feb 1941 (the Axis lost two panzer corps plus almost their whole navy!) and was never able to attack the USSR in the summer of 1941, resulting in the USSR declaring war on Germany and Italy on August 29, 1941... The Axis will pretty much be done by 1943!!!

Seeing this too: https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 6&t=395369, and not to downplay Zeckke's ability, also has me wondering if the AI could be improved...

as you mentioned thats was ally AI not axis AI is totally different..

ITS TOTALLY STUPID Playing allys against AXIS AI in this game since vanilla , the main point of this game is play with axis

the only thing interesting in this game is playing axis against ally AI

i repeat is so stupid playing allys against axis AI

you can beat axis AI always at 1943 even 1942 i did.

sooo stupid playing agisnt axis AI this game.... i also have one game where Aixs AI didnt take Paris at 1942 and URSS (me) invade Berlin and surrender german at 1942

Off hand there should be no changes to the AI, but it is possible for it to have a bad game, e.g. bad early rolls and outcomes that then snowball negatively after that which would affect all that follows, e.g. a bad France could lead to a less than optimal Balkan campaign, followed by a less than optimal USSR campaign.

Of course the game is at its best when played against a human opponent.

I may have spoke to soon as the AI is now giving me a tougher time...so the game is going to challenging after all!

Although I don't think that placing a Maritime bomber in mainland China, is going to help the Japanese AI very much, when it would be better placed somewhere in the Pacific:

this was the previous landings 1942-43 England surreneder but i withdraw german panzers and leave infantry at ports

The IA is not stupid at 1944 and cheat not sending amphibious not building more ships , the AI knows that axis submarines are to strong

I started playing the game and normal Axis AI is mopping floor with me.... it feels like AI has +5 to all rolls. Me playing Axis I get much more losses than Axis AI on offesive.
