Many know the small German city of Alsfeld from Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising. The city is nestled in the walds and bergs of the western Fulda Gap. The A5 autobahn runs through the southern side of the city. Travel east a dozen kilometers and the highway intersects the A7, west of Bad Hersfeld and the Fulda River. From Alsfeld the A5 turns southwest towards Giessen before turning south towards Frankfurt. Several other highways and state roads ran through Alsfeld as well, making the city an obvious key piece of terrain

Nice to see you doing maps again. Is there any way I could help with grunt work? Like I'm NEET nowadays, so I could try doing some maps. I was trying to start making maps by myself but could get through the get the SRTM data part.
