Watched the French subs movie Le Chant du Loup, The Wolf's Call in English. It is not the best in the genre, but was entertaining, and makes a perfect screen for CMO.

Yes, because it is possible in CMO

The weapon he is holding is a Panzerfaust (unguided) anti-tank weapon.
Or the guy is supergood or maybe super lucky...in all the rest of the cases it will only be a smoke trail

With a Stinger it will be a different story
