Hi, has anybody experience with recording the game the OBS. My problem is that OBS do not record everything in the game, eg the popups which are coming if you invest into research or also other popups. Any tips?
I had used secreen capture for my first LPs but this is annoying because I had to cut out everytime the first and last seconds, so I wanted to try to record in windowed mode, but then the popups aren`t appearing in the video.

Unfortunately the popups are their own windows, so they will be missed if you do not record in screen capture mode, e.g. when recording just the game window as you've discovered.

I had to stop recording with OBS due to somehow not explanable issues, it simply doesnt work from me anywmore after 2 years of happy usage ....
Anyhow - other alternatives do but seem to have problems with just the Strategic Command Series:

AMD Driver allows recording - however with every single popup I get white screens both for me and in the video - I guess that's the same eplanation as with OBS, however I did film the entire screen not just the program.

Another Option seemed to be the included Steam Recording Option - however it works for every other Game apart from the SC series. In general, the steam overlay doesn't seem to work in SC Series even if I moved the shortcut to F15, that shouldn't be occupied from the game itself.
Any idea how to solve this?

Edit: I do have no problems with "PRISM Live Studio" at all, any one facing the same problems, this program seems to be great.
