China's surrender update pls?

Hi, a few days ago we had a bug with China's surrender after Japan conquered Lanchow (PBEM Moonchild vs Kaigab). It was posted by both me and Kaigab:

We have not received and update if we should expect a possible fix or we should consider this game "ruined".

Furthermore, at another game I'm playing, I'm at a similar point and hesitate to capture Lanchow in case the same bug is triggered.

So, my question(s) to the game developers are: did you have a chance to look at it? Is a fix possible or we should drop the game? In connection to that, you can use the game "Moonchild vs Pekkavilamoura" (screenshot above) to make a test capture of the city, if this would be of any help in locating the problem.

Thanks!

Can you send me the Challenge ID of the game where the error occurred, as well as the Challenge ID for the game where you are in a similar situation?

I can take a look at those and let you know what I find.

Thanks and I've taken a look at a converted version of the game for Challenge ID 406442, that I can test, and taking Lanchow just resulted in the Chinese capital moving to Urumchi as expected.

I'll take a look at the other challenge tomorrow.

I looked at Challenge 399037 and ran through an earlier turn and took Lanchow and everything unfolded as it should.

Perhaps the game just got corrupted on that one particular turn.

I would suggest contacting Matrix support and see if they can roll back the game one turn, to step 115 and see if that fixes it for you.

I unfortunately cannot do this but perhaps support can.

Hope this helps,
Hubert
