Seems that after this latest update facility ground units are no longer automatically shooting at each other. I get get them to fire manually, but even when I start messing with the RoE and doing things like setting engagement to Free or specifically directing them to use their weapons against the appropriate unit type they don't open fire. I feel like I have to be missing something pretty basic here.

We need more details to help.

What do require? I've mainly been trying to test this with Infantry Platoons (mainly DBID 2272, 673, and 203). The units will spot each other but they will not fire on each other without manual intervention. I have to either F1 order them to automatically fire at each other and they will or use shift+F1 to get them to fire at each other. Otherwise they simply stand there watching each other despite having identified the other unit as a hostile unit.

My understanding is that under the default RoE and WRA settings (TIGHT, System default, all weapons) this should be sufficient for them fire. I've also tried setting WRA setting for all of the mobile target types to all of the settings except for do not use, but nothing seems to make a difference.

I've tried both enabling and disabling both of the "Effects of Terrain Type" Scenario features as well as the "Detailed gun fire-control" feature.

Hopefully this help clarify things, I'm really not sure what I'm missing. If there is any other information that would be helpful by all means let me know.

As soon as I set ROE's opportunity fire setting to yes, they killed each other.
