I'm looking for help in the Okinawa bound scenario but also on how to fight fighter with longer range missile in general.

Let say you have J-10 using PL-12 missile (range about 50 milles) vs F/A-18 with AMRAAM (range a bit over 80 milles)

How would you approach this combat this combat to have successful engagement?

Do you have any Jammer support? That could help your fighters get in range without being fired on first.

I don't have dedicated OCM aircraft but i have some JH-7B Flounder. They can mouth KG-800 ECM Pod.

I have 12 AEW aircraft of different model.

The enemies have a LOT of radar form nearly all direction.

I do have some PL-15 but i want some plan to protect those aircraft. Dose laying shaft help or not?
