UK capital reverted to London but then to Edinburg

So in my game vs Elvis, London and Manchester were liberated on the same turn. At the end turn sequence, I had a message saying "UK capital moves to Manchester" immediately followed by "UK capital moves to London".

Later, maybe two turns, I liberate Edinburgh. Now, I don't remember any message of the capital moving again, but at some point I noticed the UK capital is in Edinburgh instead of London.

This shouldn't happen, should it? Would it play any role in British NM?

Looks like the last capital location to be liberated, is added back but to the front of the list, so in this case Edinburgh became the new capital as it was the last one outstanding.

Typically, you lose capitals in order, and then regain them in the reverse order, and the code just assumed this and this is why it unfolded like this for your end, where the capitals regained were in a bit of a mixed order with Edinburgh being the last one.

I'll add this to a list of things to look into for the next patch.

I had the same problem with China.

Japan took Urumchi and China surrendered. Later India and the US liberated China from the sea but wasn't able to "liebrate" China before Japan surrendered.
