Spearhead, check the store. The first two MC's can be purchased either as download or on cd.

Without the program itself this is hard to do. I can't explain the copy problem but the other issue I think I can resolve(it might even fix the copy problem). When the installation path comes up during the installation, you need to remove the space between Matrix Games(MatrixGames) then the installation should install in the correct path. This cropted up during the original 7.1 patch upgrade so I guess this is the installer the're using. The default path for SPWAW has always been C:\MatrixGames\Steel Panthers World At War Give this a try and see if this resolves your problems. I don't have the new downloadable installer so I can only base this on what your reporting. Good luck.

Tmac I think you're problem is different. I searched the forums a good 20 minutes before opening a new thread. I have 7.1, I never upgraded it, its always been 7.1 and I was getting confused reading all these acronyms everyone uses. I mess w/ spwaw a lot but I don't know what all this stuff means so I open a new thread. All I want is Spwaw 7.1 w/ the desert fox mega campaign installed over top of that.

I'll try changing the path when I get home. thx, bro.

Spearhead, did you mean you want *free* download?
Then you are out of luck, no such place exists.

Well imagine my displeasure in having the same problem. I have 7.1 and installed all the patches with no success. I have also tried it on several machines.

I hope this problem gets fixed soon or matrix does something to make it "right" Because this very unaceptable.
