End of PBEM turn / server issue

Upon ending my turn in a PBEM game, the "logging successful" message appears then nothing happens.
Not able to go back to multiplayer menu, game turn is not sent and I have to close Warplan as it kind of freezes.
Anybody encountered the same issue (as of June 14th noon GMT) ?

Most of the time this is security software preventing the transfer of data... or the server is down. Usually the former.

Was the later I think this time. Tried 1 hour ago and everything worked fine.

This is also happening when your computer is doing something else. Usually, when I click end turn and doing ALT + TAB to resume my work, the game hangs. A timer has to expire somewhere.

Same problem again, unable to complete turn and upload. I guess that will work tomorrow...
I am playing on a Mac with Parallels 17 (windows virtual machine), so my computer must be doing other stuff quite permanently. Not supposed to be an issue. And BTW, I did shut down windows firewall, just in case.

I don't know enough about Macs to help there. Could be the Mac firewall is blocking it. Well more likely Parallels

The reason I think it might be a server issue is that my games worked absolutely fine for like 30ish turn, then I had this upload issue for 2 days, then it worked again for like 10 turns, then it failed again (until now).
During this whole process, I didn't change a single thing.
Moreover, I just shut down both MacOS and windows fire walls and the upload issue is still there.
Maybe you could have a look at the games ? My opponents are Sveint and Dakkerm.

I can delete the last turn and reset it.
You can grab the player logs that are here in Windows.
C:\Users\"your user name"\AppData\LocalLow\Kraken Studios\WarPlan
Post them here for me to see after it screws up. Sometimes it gives me clues.

Nothing wrong going on there. It is something to do with security.
What I can tell you is that some recent update affected things. Mine and my son's Discord voice channel was being blocked by Windows. I had to put in some exclusions for the game.
In windows....
Search -> Firewall -> LMB Firewall and Network Protection -> Allow an app through firewall -> Change settings -> Allow Another App -> Browse -> find the warplan app and add it to the list.
Oddly my list has SC but not WP for some reason.
Another place, and this is where I had to change to make Discord work...
Search -> Defender -> (this should pop up) Windows Firewall with Advanced Security -> (from left list) Inbound Rules -> Action -> New Rule -> Program -> Browse and find WarPlan -> Allow the Connection -> (since you are at home) Private -> Name -> Finish
Do the same for outbound rules.

Resumed both games but oddly, I don't receive the e-mail notification when it's my turn to play.
Checked the obvious spam box.
Not sure if that's somehow connected to the firewall issue. Should not.

Sorry to bother you again but the game worked fine for 3 days and, without changing anything, the "upload bug" is back again.
I did reset firewall settings, add new rules to the firewall to allow Warplan inbound and outbound but the whole thing remains unsuccessful.

Stuck upon ending turns, it goes to "logging successful" then freeze.
I can play turns but not upload at the end.
Fixed once with your firewall settings but after 3 days, it is impossible to get the game going.

So this is an upload issue. What version PC are you using Win 10 I assume?
Do you have McAfee, Avast, or any other security program? Sorry if I repeat the question i get a lot of emails and messages. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of who is who.
Double check that the game is unblocked in the 2 spots I gave the instructions to and it didn't reset. Windows might have updated and changed the rules. I really don't know why they do this but sometimes they do. My discord Voice stopped working due to an update.
Did you switch versions like from Matrix to Steam?

I am playing on windows 11 with parallels for Mac OS. Mac firewall is shut down, BTW.
I don't have any anti-virus softwares other than the windows 11's firewall.
Warplan is not steamed version but regular Matrix latest update (1.00.25).
I did double check the inbound and outbound rules as you advised + the settings allowing Warplan to pass through the firewall. I even tried with the firewall totally disabled.
The weird thing is that the bug appeared after 30ish turns, then disappeared, then came back. I posted and changed the firewall settings, then the game worked fine again for 3 days, then the bug was back again and I can't upload my turns (I can still load and play turns)...
Quite a messy and frustrating situation.
