just purchased this game and installed it with no problems at all but as soon as I tryed to start a new game it chashed and I have to restart my computer.

My computer is more than able to run this game, the only thing that might cause a problem is that I am running direct x 9.

Any help would be welcome.

Do you have the patches installed? If not please d/l and install all the patches first... GET PATCHES FROM THIS LINK.....CLICK HERE.. Install them in patch order and then see if this fixes the problem you have been having with the CTD. If that dosent work for you please respond back in this thread..
