Out of all the scenarios i've played this is the one that gives me the most trouble.
I still havn't had a victory playing as the Axis.
I know IRL they didn't have a chance but we play these games to change history right?
So my main tactics have been to try and capture the enemies supply points but i usually end up cut off from my own supplies.
Is trying to surround Bastogne a waste of time?
What priorities do you guys make?
What strategy worked best for you?

Have not played this yet, but from historical references/videos the Germans (based on lack of intel) decided to surround Bastogne when, apparently, they could have taken it with little to no resistance.
They waited too long, the Allies showed up & eventually the German forces were pushed back.

I won it two times (normal and challenging difficulty).

My strategy in both games was to keep all western and southern roads closed and repel any breakout attempts while attacking from the north and the east. The airborne division in the south must hold against the allies reinforcements long enough.
