I'm trying to figure out how to give a mission to engineer to blow a bridge. I'm not sure if the "bridge" mission is the one to do this, but besides that, I get an error when trying to set a bridge mission. Please look at the attached file, and COA 1 Battle Plan for the US force. I have two sections of engineers in Hex 201 and two in hex 2812. When I give them the bridge mission and then go to set waypoints, the program simply eliminates the waypoint notice box and nothing happens. I either get a 'mission incomplete" message or nothing happens except the note on the mission says there are no waypoints.

A related but separate question: If the "bridge" mission is not for blowing bridges, how do you set up a mission for the AI to blow a bridge?

I believe you are referring to adding a Battle Plan mission to blow a bridge. The bad news is that you don't have that ability in the version of the game you have right now. The good news is that it is coming, and hopefully soon. I don't know if it will be in the next update or not. The Battle Planner is a work in progress. Overtime we want to continue to add additional mission types and features to it. If you notice something mission, like blowing bridges, let us know and we will look into the feasibility of it.

Thanks for the answer. Yes, bridge blowing would be an important mission to include.

I think I solved the other issue of not being able to place waypoints for the mission by using the "Mission n Center Mass of the Unit" function.

We have to work on that and bridging and other engineering tasks in Battle Plans. Known issue and on The List.
