Aussie Korsun Pocket Shipping???

Just tried to order online at the Matrix store - and tells me that price is $49.99 and to have it shipped down under by UPS is $8.99 for a total of $58.98 USD. Converted to Oz dollars atm lets say it is about double (bit less), so $116 AUD. This is acceptable and I went ahead with the order.

I'm thinking great, but then the order process rejects me by saying that either my shipping address entered in the order screen doesn't match the country I gave in the basket screen OR that the shipping method I've asked for doesn't ship to those areas.

I retry the order process five or six times and sometimes when I select australia and new zealand with UPS it gives me an error straight up, but still doesn't let me order. Seems to think that UPS doesn't deliver to australia . . . which is total horseshit.

I'm sitting within arms reach of two boxes from the US that were delivered fast, promptly and cheaply (less than 10 US dollars both times) by UPS (one was expedited so arrived in 7 working days).

So to get the game however it will arrive, I change the shipping method to FedEx (assuming the US post doesn't deliver down under) and the shipping price goes up to $41.95 for a grand total of $91.94 USD = $182 AUD!!!! **** that! for $83 aussie dollars I'll wait until it is here, or if WITP is out, then probably not buy it at all.

So my question is to the other Aussies out there after Korsun pocket: are you paying for the Fed Ex, or are you buying through different chains/web sites that allow UPS to deliver or waiting or what?

I would order through the aussie mob at Vortigern.com.au but I'm not going to send my credit card number to them with an online order form when they don't have a price listed (they've got a ? mark) for Korsun Pocket.

Any ideas?

Don't suppose matrix would provide Korsun pocket as a retail-download? (very convenient, don't wait for shipping, burn onto my own cd etc.).

I think the cheapest option for Aussies would be www.vortigern.com.au. They seem to get hold of the latest games pretty quickly too - you can call them on O2-6689-1919, and you can do phone or fax orders if you don't want to order online.

They currently sell Uncommon Valour for $80 + GST + postage so I would assume KP should be around the same price...best to double check though.

Not sure if www.milsims.com.au will be stocking it but they usually take a CC number over the phone as well.

Cheers Chris

Perhaps SSG could just drop one in on the way to work ;) hey if you ask nice they might set it up on your machine and who knows give a few pointers?

@ Luskan. I thought your doubling of the currency was a bit generous so I used the converter located at the bottom of the order page and $49.99 USD = $75.50 Australian, not $94.00. I'm not trying to be pedantic but I thought I would clarify that so it didn't put anyone off. 20% is 20%.

We are working on something right now to get the games onto the shelves at EB here in Australia.

When I have more info on this I will let you all know.

Is there any further word as to Australian availability - forget EB for now as they have absolutely no idea in Melbourne!
