How to add/change/custom ID Country/Nation?

Hello i wanna try and learn to make campaign on asian countries, can i change or name/ID to make custom nation?if possible can u tell me how to do it.

Yes, this is certainly possible, and the best place to start is Part 2 of the Manual, which is all about how to design your own campaigns!
Especially relevant to changing country names is the section 3.3.2. Customize Your Campaign that starts on page 272.
Good luck with modding, and I am sure that I won't be the only one who will be interested in seeing what design you might come up with.

thanks for the guide, i will ask again about modding later, there some hidden Gems about Historical Nation on "Indonesia vs Netherland" and "Japan vs Indonesia" im try to make some scenario about it.

Adding the flags will require a paint program which will properly save PNG files, and some ability to design the flags and get them to fit into the format the game uses.

Is there a video tutorial on how to edit this? I'm having a hard time figuring this out.
