Firstly, how come the UK is not able to build any mechanized units? They along with the USA had the only universally, fully mechanized divisions out of all nations at the time. Secondly, usage of German rockets is probably very low because of the big investment, would it be fair to add one to the queue, for example in Nov. 1943 and increase either the range or the demorilization per level? Lastly, what is the reasoning of Germany not being able to produce light tanks? They were very extensively used for the first half of the war. Of course for balancing you wouldn't want to have 100 German panzers focused up somewhere but they could gain 1 or 2 light tanks in the production menu and lose one normal tank. Just a few thoughts of mine while playing.

Well, all of this can be very easily modded by the player. As to the rationale behind the default settings, I recall that the developers have explained the use of light tanks, for example, in the game manual.

Although rocket range does already increase with tech advances, as per the Manual:

Rocket Weapons – only Germany can research this category and deploy Rocket units. It improves the Resource attack value and strike range values for all Rockets, while also increasing the chance by 10% that a rocket attack against a resource occupied by a defender will inflict a hit on that defending unit. Note that Rocket’s effectiveness decreases with range.

This can also been seen by hovering your mouse over any research category while in the Research screen while playing. A description of the bnefits the research category provides will appear in the bottom left of the panel.

I think you mean "motorized" and not "mechanized".
Mechanized is when everything is fully equiped with armored personnel carriers (APCs).

To my knowledge, the US Army was not fully mechanized until after WWII.

The following were official "motorized" US Infantry Divs of WWII; however, with the ample motor vehicles available, it can be argued that practically everything was motorized.

Motorized divisions:

4th Motorized Division: 1942–1943* (4th Infantry Division)
5th Motorized Division: phantom World War II division
6th Motorized Division: 1942–1943* (6th Infantry Division)
7th Motorized Division: 1942–1943* (7th Infantry Division)
8th Motorized Division: 1942–1943* (8th Infantry Division)
90th Motorized Division: 1942–1943* (90th Infantry Division)

To my knowledge, the true "mechanized" infantry units of the US Army were those belonging to Armored Divisons (or perhaps independent elements)
