Hi all, downloaded again EDtBR and played some turns as Axis vs Allied AI (BtR long campaign, old map )
I would say a great thank to the team dedicated, you do a great job, really, I'm impressed, especially about Allied AI (as I said I played few turns so maybe I'm wrong in the long term but the 'new' first look seem really promising).

Now, the questions that bring me here again:

Bf 109Ga-6 is the last upgrade (except Axis-Co models D.205, MS 406, IAR 81M, Mc 205, G.55/I, Re.2005) for Axis-Co or I can switch to German lines like Bf 109G-6 (when reached 500 units in pool like earlier version) and then to other German fighter lines?

I saw that Fw 190F & G can't upgrade at all (maybe later to Me 262A or other jet fighters?) and can't carry WGr21 rockets anymore, I'm wrong?

The improved fighter feature for Axis allies has remained the same. Once a type has reached 500 in reserve, you can equip a minor ally with that type and once that squadron has those types on its roster it can change to any other German type in the pool. This now also applies to units with the 190 F/G.
Those last two now cannot carry the wgr210 rockets as you noted.

Why is it that the German Fw 190F/G can not be loaded with rockets?

Instinctively, for me, it feels like the Germans could have done so if they desired with little effort.

AFAIK the photo/written evidence for the type carrying these rockets is very limited with the 'F' known to carry the rockets on one specific variant only whilst the 'G' is much well less documented.

Hi,

I am not arguing against the evidence of 'F' having been equipped with the rockets, or not. I am arguing that they could have been if the Germans so desired. Especially considering that the *F' were based on several different FW 190 models. I think it is within the realm of what was possible, and what should be allowed in a strategic simulation of the WWII air war.

On the Fw 190G. Would it be possible to add the Fw 190 G-3/R1 build for extra cannons?

Whilst I could agree that the German player could apply a lot of extra items for use, somewhere the line has to be drawn.
As for the extra gun pods, there are a certain amount of 'slots' for aircraft types and I believe all these are now full.
Our redoubtable coder Simonitch would be able to provide a clear answer if mine is wrong.

Nope. BUT we have to be careful as to what we add. There is also a protocol I need to follow in regard to new aircraft types that could be added. For now, I do not see the need.
