In my last game I had a very good reputation but then at a long war. The enemy lost colonies because of war weariness and the colonies get independent and my fleets invaded them, so I got a really bad reputation. I wrote this problem already 3 times. Please give us the policy setting under colonisation: Do not invade independent or only diplomacy to integrate independent or something like this.

I generally try for diplomatic relations with independents, but it seems like once I learn troop transport tech, the automation defaults to invasion and I have to manually set the stance to diplomacy. It would be nice to have a master policy that allowed me to choose the default stance.
