I've got a handle on invasions, no problem there, but when it comes to moving back-up troops to the newly-invaded planet my transport only wants to pick-up troops, not drop them off! No matter where I click on the planet or the ship I don't get the option to off-load troops. Is it because the ship isn't full and still has space for troops? I don't want to land a whole division, just 3 or 4 hundred as a back-up until the planet can build they're own while the assault division moves on to another invasion.

Should I make my back-up transport only hold 3 or 4 hundred, not the same 1000 or so like a 'regular' troopship?

It's ok, I've found how to do it. I need to ctrl-right-click to get more options, not just right-click.
