Dancing capitals

With the new patch, capitals move if an enemy is within 5 hexes. Now, it is quite easy for the Japanese to be within 5 hexes of Chungking (often without combat), so the capital moves to Kumming. However, Kumming is within 5 hexes of Japanese troops (north Indochina), so it moves back to... Chungking a week latter, and then back to Kumming ans so forth.

Now, since tons of documents are probably burned each time an evacuation occurs, I am afraid the air has become unbreathable in both those cities :D

Same thing in Europe. Germans are near Paris. Capital goes to Marseilles but in range of Italy that did nothing. Next turn, capital goes to Rouen again near Germans. Waiting the surprise of the next turn… :D

Can’t it be limited to UK only? Or French is going to Bordeaux period.

That would indeed be a simple and elegant solution. The UK is probably the only real problem due to convoys as it can be easily "bypassed".

Ahh the complexities of moving capitals.

I was meaning to put in a manual move as well. Hoping this worked.

In one of my current games, a partisan took Shanghai and the Chinese shifted their capital there for a turn..... :D

By the way, is it planned to correct this in a next patch?

I think I already did. I reduced the range that it moves. I remember doing so
