Before the latest update my icons were miniature tanks and missile units. Now they are nato symbols. Even though I change to stylized directional icons in game settings.

Hi Schip,

remember that when choosing the directional stylized icons you must save the map as "personal" and check the "Use Personal map profile"

Doesn’t work.

It is not correct in 1328.9. Besides some ground units that they were ok in the last version now is not represented correctly like the other.

Still a problem in v1.06.1328.11.

The icons are in the simulator folder but are not used with the option "Directional stylized"

I made my own fix for this. Please try it and let me know if you see anything wrong.

Thanks for the help. Ground units are well represented but SAMs and ground radars are still wrong represented.

I hope the developers can fix this so we can have all the options available.

EDIT: After restart the simulator SAMs and ground radars are now well represented.

This bug is similar to the one reported about the pop-up messages. The option to switch between different types of icons does not work in the options panel and the directional stylized icons are not well represented even though all the icons for the three different options are in the game folders.

The latest Steam version, the error still remains, stylized symbols are mixed with NATO symbols.

I posted the fix for this a few posts up.

I tried to get them to work as non directional icons but no luck.
Is there a way to use them as that as well?

I've never used the "non-directional" stylized icons to know what they are "supposed" to look like. I THINK that they share ground unit icons with directional?

From my mod, I copied the contents of '...Symbols/Directional' to the game's '...Symbols/Stylized' folder and it seems to work. Does that not get you what you expected?
