It's like there's no antialiasing or the resolution has been downgraded somehow.

Thank you for this report, Shkval25. Are you talking specifically about the placename labels like AMMAN and AN-NAJAF?

Yes
A fix is in the pipeline that should improve the appearance of the placenames labels. Thank you for pointing it out.
