This afternoon of August 15, Spanish time, the multiplayer has started to give me errors.
It does not allow me to enter saying that I have not updated the game, when I have it in version .17, which I think is the latest.
And then this message appears: client mismatch, connection error -3

Do you know what could be happening?

I am having same issue with client mismatch and to upgrade but have the latest 1.17 version. Is there a new patch that hasnt gone up yet?

Its a Slitherine server issue and not your games that need to be updated. That's just a proforma comment. This is happening across the entire PBEM++ space.
I have 5 MP matches including four different SC games, so the message saying you have to update to the latest version is incorrect and in itself an error.
The client mismatch message that comes after is also an indicator that its on Slitherines end.

Usually this problem gets resolved fairly quickly.

Thanks OCB for update, we will just have to keep trying till it is resolved.
