After a year or so break, I'm trying to play this game again multiplayer. The old recorded login and password did not work. So I entered a new login and password. But I got this message "Register new user failed. Lobby system error."

Unfortunately this kind of thing is so typical of this game series, despite all the different companies that made different versions of Close Combat.

So does the lobby system still work?

If you had played before then you wouldn't be able to register a new user over the top of it, you'll need to login correctly with your old details. If you really can't remember them then reach out to support@slitherine.co.uk.
