Split SAM Site Not Firing

I saw a conversation on Discord about this and replicated it. I've not used the Split function before. But once I split the radar the unit will not fire.
I added the matching Comm link to the TEL group and had missile launch success. I saw several SA-21 datalinks so maybe the originator had the wrong one?
All seems well.
