Data block with time to waypoint at present speed?

Is there a way to show or a data block that shows the time to an individual waypoint at present speed?
The Range/Bearing tool is great, but it would be nice to immediately see how long it will take a ship, submarine or aircraft to get to a particular waypoint at present speed.

I might be missing something, but isn't it just dist/speed?

It is. But distances are shown only when plotting the course, I think. They disappear once the course is plotted. After that, you need to use the Range/Bearing tool and do the calculation. And, if there are multiple waypoints, you need to use the Range/Bearing tool with each leg, add up the various distances and do the calculation. Would be nice if you select an individual waypoint and a data block shows the time to that waypoint at present speed.

You know the datablock itself shows distance from last selected point to current cursor position, right?

I did not, thanks. I maintain it would be nice for the data block to include the time to destination. I would rather have that than the Local Time at the selected point.

I would personally say that local time is far more important on the datablock. With time to destination, first grade math can get you the answer. There is almost no way to know local time at the point without a time zone map. And knowing local time can be critical for missions at times. Not saying you wouldn't find the time to destination useful, but you can get that easily with the data provided. You can't do that with local time.
As is always stated by the devs, if you want something added or changed, put in the feature request thread.

Select the waypoint and then bring up the Throttle and Altitude menu (F2 or one of the GUI options will all work). It will tell you both the DTG and the TTG and fuel qty required.

Thanks! This exactly the information I wanted. Just did not know where to look.

Data block would be nice of course, but my question was not limited to data blocks. I asked if there is "a way to show OR a data block that shows." (Yes, I only say data block in the topic, there are a limited number of characters allowed in the topic.)

One thing to be careful of in the F2 TTG is that the calc is instantaneous on the first waypoint. It uses actual speed not set speed. So on that first waypoint you might have to check current speed for a good reading.
