Is there a limit to the number of depots one can build not in a city hex? I built 2 or 3 and now the prompt to create a new depot on a non-city rail-line doesn't show up. The rail lines are connected and not damaged.

If I recall correctly, one can not build a depot in a newly captured hex (pending) unless it is a city. That could be it in your case.

No, I tried even in territory way behind Moscow just for grins and I don't get the option to build a new depot on a non-city rail line hex.

The only other thing I can think of is that you have no more AP. But you seem to be able to build them in cities, so that is not it. We need an expert's answer I think, seems beyond little beginner me.

Wierd - I was able to build two depots and then I can no longer build depots in non-city rail hexes NOR any airfields.

I've gone through prior saves and after I build either 2 non-city rail hex depots or 2 airfields not on a city I don't have the option to build anymore not on a city hex.

You are only allowed so many depots on a non-town/city hex a turn.

Thank you so much. I'm used to playing WITW that I never thought to do this until I started having truck usage issues and wanted to put depots closer to the front. Apparently it's 2 so I will remember that.
