Two part question.

Part One:
I remember reading somewhere (maybe WITW from years ago) that different artillery types have different ranges so they cover more zones during combat resolution. Is this the same with WITE2?

Part Two:
I found that different artillery types use a different amount of trucks (i.e., howitzer and corps artillery regiments use many more than a gun regiment). For future planning purposes, would it be prudent to "balance" the artillery allotment with truck usage in mind with more artillery that use less tracks and fewer that use more?
