Is C-RAM simulated?

For the life of me I can't figure out how, even though the database seems set up for it. No matter how easy of a target the incoming mortar, gun, rocket, or bomb is, nothing responds. Is this a programming limitation? It's just a little annoying given the myriad of dumb threats and how useful lasers and systems like Iron Dome are against them.

C-RAM is not currently simulated. Guided munitions can be intercepted; i.e. GMLRs, JDAMs, cruise missiles, etc. but unguided munitions currently cannot; Artillery, unguided rockets, etc.

Oh well, unfortunate but understandable- are there any plans that anyone knows of to implement C-RAM simulation, since it's listed in many DB entries in various ways?

The DB flags are there solely as a placeholder for potential future capability.

I suspect we will see this being implemented in the future, but only a handful of defense systems will actually be able to do it.
If I'm not mistaken, isn't Israel working on a companion to Iron Dome called Iron Beam, a Directed-Energy system for blasting smaller ordinance like mortar rounds?

It seems like there might be some 'low hanging fruit' in this area by simply adding some light rockets to the DB as either "guided weapons" or "ballistic missiles" instead of as unguided rockets. CEP and range could be adjusted accordingly.

We are currently working on having unguided rockets modelled as detectable and interceptable weapons, similar to guided missiles.

Will counter battery radars then be modelled as well, as far as how they function with regards to counter battery fires?

If you refer to their ability to back-track the projectile trajectory and provide a location estimate for the launcher, this is something we would like to do but is uncertain.

This is excellent! Will artillery, mortars, and other shells also be interceptible, like HVPs and naval gunfire?

Initially unguided rockets only.

Yup, exactly what I meant. Thanks for the update!
