Crazy Explorers leave spaceport before they’re completed!?!
Posted: Fri Sep 08, 2023 12:27 pm
Platform: Steam
Build version: v1.1.6.7
Severity: Low
Annoyance factor: Medium
Confusion for new players: Through the roof!
Saved game:
Playing as the Quameno, I’ve set two explorers being built to auto-scout. And at one point, they both left the construction yard before being completed!!!
The ships are:
* Curuious Whim
* Fading Smuggler.
The missing components are:
* Reactor (Novacore)
* Basic Fuel Cell
* Standard Armor
* Deflection Field Generator.
I have other explorers (fully automated) and didn’t have any problems with them.
The two crazies’ missions are “Moving to (numbered coordinates). And if I click on those coordinates in the selection panel, it brings me to the ship, which continues to move, seemingly indefinitely.
I’ve tried to manually stop them (not in the save) and order them to go repair at the colony. It’s not working: they stop for a sec, and then resume their pointless movement. I’ve also tried to retire them: didn’t work either.
In the end, I had to delete them with the editor.
