Better message filtering?

Hi,
I would like to get rid of certain message types. Is there an easy way to do this?
I would like to not receive any prompts about building resort bases or defense bases, but get them for science bases or mining bases.
I checked out mods on Nexus and Steam, but none seem to be doing this.
The game settings unfortunately don't differentiate base types.
I would also like to block other types of suggestions. Exploration ships for example.

Hey thanks for the question.
At the moment, DW2 doesn't have a settings mode for granular notifications suppression, though that's something we may look into the future.
In the meantime here are a few things you can do to manage notifications - these are tied to the game's policy settings for automation:
1. If you'd like to turn of pop-up messages that pause you're game you could go into the settings menu and in the "General" section at the bottom there's an option called "Suppress Popup Messages". Click "Yes" to enable this option.
2. If you'd like to avoid advisor prompts suggesting base construction projects, you'd need to go to the Policy Settings Tab (Hotkey P) under the Empire Info window on the left. In the Advisors and Automation section (or alternatively in the Construction section) you can set the Base construction to either Automated or Manual. These options should turn off the advisors suggesting projects, but for the former option the AI will do all the decision-making for you, whereas with Manual you will have to manually tell your economy to build stations at specified locations. However, Base Construction involves all stations, such as spaceports, resort stations, mining stations, etc.
3. For exploration ships, just like with Base Construction you can modify the behavior of your exploration ships in the "Exploration" section of the Policy Settings. However, this modifies the behavior of exploration ships rather than directly affect suggestions or notifications.
Ultimately, you can play around with the policy settings to see what works best for your playstyle.
