Corrupted sreen

Could someone please tell me how to prevent this? It came about from when I went directly from a scenario to the editor. I didn't need to save the scenario. The past day I installed the latest update for Windows 10. The screen looks like someone used pastels colors, including the actual scenario.
Thanks.

I went directly from a scenario to the editor.
Closing TOAW first usually avoids this issue.

Thanks for the reply.
I did that as soon as this happen and reopened the game and had the same thing. I closed it again and tried to start a new game the next day and still had the problem. Anyway, I uninstalled the game after saving my graphic and scenario folders on the desktop. The game worked as it should. I expected this, but I was surprised to see that instead of having the scenario and graphic folders the game came with, the old folders I saved showed in with the game despite the game being installed elsewhere on the computer. I expected I would have to manually go through the old folders and get the stuff I made.
For the time being it is good to go.
