In the scens attached, SAMs seem to be launching in the wrong direction or looping around post being fired.

Example 1 - ETG USN Iowa vs Soviet Kirov 2025 (Mod) - PT:
VLS SM-6 SAMs seem to be going somewhat haywire and launching in the wrong direction against Russian Zircon missiles.

Example 2 - ETG Stress Test - Okinawa Defence-PT Patriot Missile Issue:
Patriot PAC-3 and SM-6 SAMs launching against DF-100 missiles, and then looping around in circles, usually missing their targets.

i have experienced this, i reported it during beta testing in July, it's very strange missile behaviour. I have more going backwards than forwards. Watching in God Eye view shows just how many missiles go lose. In my scenario i fire 6 missiles (HAWC AShM) at the ship fired from F-35C, the ship (SKR Admiral Sergey Gorshkov) in return fires about 20 SAM's (SA-N-21d Growler) back, most of which fire backwards. Its weapon release rate must be phenomenal. The ship is also picking up the hypersonic missiles on its ESM sensors at 172nm.

Similar, if not the same as the issue report here https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 0&t=395281
It was supposed to be fixed but it looks like it is not completely fixed.
IIRC I was told it was to do with the calculated intercept point being behind the firer, causing the missiles to launch towards that and not the target.

Had a chance to look at this now.

This "feels" somewhat similar to this report.

Unfortunately both provided saves are from points-in-time where the threats are very close by, so it is difficult to evaluate if the tweak applied on the other report will have the same beneficial effect here.

Is it possible to provide saves of those scenarios just after the moment of the (offensive) weapons launch? Thanks.

Thanks for looking into it Dimitris and co.

I have the Okinawa scen here too; ABMs are generally working as advertised against BMs (DF-21, DF-26), but SM-6s and PAC-3s are certainly having issues against DF-17s and DF-100s. I've got two saves in the zip file, one from the very start of the scenario (PT1), and one (PT2) from when the DF-100s are first detected.

Can you re-check these examples with the current Build 1328.14 ?

I can confirm that the issue of the missiles looping around certainly seems to have been solved, thanks.
There still seem to be some ASBMs in general, but that's covered in another thread. I also found issues with rate of fire for some VLS, but I'll report that in a separate thread.
